This all depends on the design. If its realism, it will take longer than an abstract piece. I tend to charge per square foot, and depending on the material used. Pieces that require metal leafing or mixed media with textile will be priced slightly different. Travel, scaffolding, and design regions are also factored into the final pricing. I studied traditional oil painting at the Art Institute of Chicago, and have been working as a freelance artist from 2009. My clients have ranged from commissioned paintings for personal space to commercial art. I can work in all mediums, surfaces and outdoors as well as in.

We begin with a preliminary discussion on what the space is and what type of art you want. This can be very specific with a clear design already available, or you have no idea and need help. After agreeing on the design inspirations I begin the work of creating general mockups. In the second phase I send you my designs and space juxtapositons and we revise until the final Image is chosen.

Finally after signing contracts and a 40% down payment I will begin work. The design process is tedious and will be included in the down payment.

The painting can take anywhere from a week to a month. Depending on the wall prep or art concept.

The final result is a completely unique space or piece to your liking.
